The Moscow Cossack Choir was founded in 2013 in Moscow. Our team is a private organization, which gives us complete freedom in creativity and allows us to be unique and independent. The choir’s music perfectly combines the traditional polyphony of old Cossack songs with a modern pop-academic sound, without vulgarizing or belittling the dignity of the Cossack song tradition. Our team consists of high-class musicians who are fluent in vocals, choreography, flanking, playing musical instruments and other skills. All artists have higher education from the best music universities in the capital, as well as a wide expeditionary experience in studying the culture, life and traditions of the Cossacks from different regions. The professional approach, knowledge of our craft, energy and charisma of the participants quickly allowed us to become the leading collective of Cossack song and dance in Moscow. And a little later after the creation, they heard about us in Russia and the world.
Already four months after its creation, the Moscow Cossack Choir was invited through the diplomatic line to Kuwait, as a guest of honor to celebrate the Day of the Constitution of Russia. Having proved ourselves well, we began to frequently tour the world and for several years visited such countries as: France, India, Monaco, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Morocco, Paraguay, Brazil, Vietnam, China, Kazakhstan, Belarus , Kuwait, Latvia, Vietnam. The Moscow Cossack Choir has visited some of them 2 or more times.
But even at home in Moscow, our choir is always a welcome guest at such concert venues as: GKD, Crocus, Russian Army Theater, Concert venues on Poklonnaya Gora, Red Square, Vorobyovy Gory, etc. The Moscow Cossack Choir has won special love and recognition among EVEN companies that often invite the collective for private parties to small banquet halls and such legendary restaurants as: Pushkin, Turandot, Aragvi, Cristal Room Baccarat, Nobu, restaurants of the National Hotel, Metropol, Four Seasons , Baltschug Kempinski, Marriott, Lotto Plaza, Azimut, Ararat Park Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton and many others.
To date, the music of the Moscow Cossack Choir has been recorded on several CDs that are publicly available on popular electronic music platforms: iTunes, Yandex Music, Shazam, Gooole, Zvooq, Deezer and others.
During our existence, we have taken part in many major international festivals and competitions such as: Spasskaya Tower, Moscow Spring A Cappella, SMG Awards, Amfionia and many others.
We actively cooperate with television companies and have already worked with such channels as: Channel One, TVC, Russia 24, Kultura, Zhar Ptitsa, STS, MIR, TNT, Zvezda, NBC and others.
The Moscow Cossack Choir often collaborates and performs together with such famous Russian artists as: Stas Mikhailov, Mikhail Shufutinsky, Alexander Rosenbaum, Dmitry Dibrov, Varvara, Marina Devyatova and many others.
We are proud of our friendship and cooperation with such organizations as: the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Sberbank, Aeroflot, GKD, ROSTEKH, GAZPROM, ROSATOM, Russian Railways, GRU, FSB and many others.
Our team is constantly evolving. We update our repertoire every year, put on new choreography and systematically rehearse.
